CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Burglary and Theft

• Merchandise was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Lum Road at approximately 1:10 p.m. on July 9.

• A bike was reported stolen from the 600 block of North Washington Avenue at approximately 3:05 p.m. on July 9.

• Mail was reported stolen from the 600 block of K Street at 5:45 p.m. on July 9.

• A juvenile was arrested in the 100 block of Jalyn Street just before 12:50 a.m. on July 10 and was booked into the Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for allegedly stealing a firearm.

• A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. on July 10.

• A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Ahlers Avenue just before 5:20 a.m. on July 10.

• Merchandise was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Kresky Avenue at 8:10 a.m. on July 11.

• A juvenile was cited for shoplifting in the 1700 block of North National Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. on July 10.

• Merchandise was reported stolen from the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at approximately 1 p.m. on July 11.

• Clothing was reported stolen from the 1400 block of Lum Road just after 6:45 p.m. on July 9.

 

Assault

• A fourth-degree assault was reported in the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue just after 1:10 a.m. on July 10.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• A subject was cited for unlawful transit conduct in the 900 block of Old Airport Way just after 2:05 p.m. on July 11.

 

Malicious Mischief

• Terry L. Bryan, 41, was arrested in the 900 block of Ellsbury Street at approximately 4:05 p.m. on July 11 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly damaging property.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A vehicle was damaged in a reported hit-and-run in the 500 block of North Tower Avenue just after 6 p.m. on July 12.

 

Graffiti

• A subject was cited in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue just after 7:50 a.m. on July 12 for graffiti damage.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Burglary and Theft

• A second-degree burglary reported in the 600 block of Northwest Middle Street at 8:35 a.m. on July 9 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft in progress was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 5:40 p.m. on July 10. Police were unable to locate the subject.

• A vehicle theft reported in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at approximately 6:40 p.m. on July 10 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 8:45 p.m. on July 11 is under investigation.

• A second-degree burglary reported in the 300 block of Northwest State Street just before 3 a.m. on July 12 is under investigation.

 

Under Investigation

• Suspicious circumstances reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 9:05 a.m. on July 9 are under investigation.



 

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard was reported at approximately 10:55 a.m. on July 9.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 2:30 p.m. on July 9.

 

Possible Stalking

• Just before 9:10 p.m. on July 9, a caller at a business in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard requested that a male who “has been stalking an employee making her feel uncomfortable” be trespassed from the business.

• At 8:05 p.m. on July 11, a caller in the 1500 block of South Market Boulevard reported her ex-boyfriend was following her.

 

Dog Locked in Car

• Just after 4:30 p.m. on July 10, a caller reported a dog locked in a car in the 2100 block of North National Avenue.

 

Disorderly Conduct

• Just after 10 p.m. on July 10, a caller in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue reported a subject was “banging on the windows of customers asking for weed.”

• Just after 8:35 a.m. on July 11, a caller in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue requested a “very loud, disruptive subject” who was “causing problems” and “acting violent” be trespassed.

• Just after 5:15 p.m. on July 11, a caller in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue requested a subject who was “acting like a fool,” “yelling at cars” and “trying to fight with people” be trespassed.

 

Assault 

• A subject was arrested in the 2100 block of Southwest Olympic Drive just before 10:25 p.m. on July 10 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault.

• A caller reported his son was assaulted at the Stan Hedwall Park in the 1500 block of Rice Road at approximately 5 p.m. on July 11.

 

Domestic Dispute

• At approximately 7:35 p.m. on July 11, a woman in the 300 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue reported a man with a concealed firearm had locked her out of her residence. No arrests were made. 

 

Death Investigation

• A death was reported in the 10 block of Southwest 12th Street just after 4:10 a.m. on July 11.

 

Crash

• A non-injury collision between a passenger vehicle and a flatbed truck was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Avenue just before 2:45 p.m. on July 11.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 138 inmates, including 120 in the general population and 18 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 103 were reported male and 17 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
