Sirens: Hit With a Frying Pan; Coin Machine Damaged; Bicycle Theft; Fraud

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Coin Machine Damaged

• Damage to a coin machine in the 1500 block of Kresky Avenue was reported just after 8:20 a.m. on March 8.

 

Criminal Trespass

• A man was arrested and released for first-degree criminal trespassing 1:20 p.m. on March 8 after he allegedly went onto property he had previously been trespassed from in the 500 block of Seventh Street.

 

Crash

• A minor-injury, single-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Marion Street and Oxford Avenue just before 2:15 p.m. on March 8.

 

Burglary

• Shannon K. Kilgore, 52, of Centralia, was arrested just after 7:10 p.m. on March 8 in the 500 block of West 7th Street and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree burglary after he allegedly damaged property inside a residence he was previously trespassed from.

 

Hit With a Frying Pan

• Angela A. Harris, 37, of Centralia, was arrested just before 9 p.m. on March 8 in the 2800 block of Russell Road and booked into the Lewis County Jail for third- and fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, after she allegedly hit a victim with a frying pan. She was released March 9 on a $10,000 unrestricted bail and is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on March 18.

 

Broken Window

• A window of a vehicle in the 100 block of Walnut Street was reported damaged at 9:40 a.m. on March 9.



 

Bicycle Theft

• Packages and a bicycle were reported stolen from the 800 block of G Street just after 2:35 p.m. on March 9.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue just after 3:45 p.m. on March 9.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Disorderly Conduct

• Just after 7:20 p.m. on March 9, a caller reported that a disorderly man was making death threats towards staff in the 500 block of Southeast Adams Avenue and hitting his head against the shower. No arrests were made.

Fraud

• A non-specific fraud reported in the 200 block of Southwest First Street at 2:20 p.m. on March 8 is under investigation.

 

Possible Burglary

• Just before 6:05 p.m. on March 8, a caller reported a man in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue was inside a store “stuffing a backpack full of stuff.” No arrests were made.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 123 inmates, including 111 in the general population and 12 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 94 were male and 17 were female. All WERC inmates were female.
