Sirens: Four Arrested for Vehicle Theft; Sexual Misconduct; Theft by Criminal Impersonation

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Malicious Mischief

• A Centralia man was issued a citation for third-degree malicious mischief in the 900 block of East Locust Street just after 3:50 a.m. on April 26 for allegedly damaging someone else’s property.

• Vandalism to a vehicle in the block of Harrison Avenue was reported just after 12:30 p.m. on April 26.

• Vandalism to a vehicle in the 1300 block of Lum Road was reported just after 3:40 p.m. on April 26.

 

Hit-and-run

• A hit-and-run in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue was reported at approximately 11:05 a.m. on April 26.

• A hit-and-run in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue was reported at approximately 6:35 p.m. on April 26.

• A hit-and-run involving a vehicle parked at the Harrison Avenue Safeway was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. on April 27.

 

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Tower Avenue and East First Street was reported just after 3:40 p.m. on April 27.

 

Shoplift

• Shoplifting at a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road was reported just after 7:10 p.m. on April 26. The suspect was not located.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• A vehicle prowl in the 300 block of South Diamond Street was reported at approximately 9:35 a.m. on April 27.

 

Motor Vehicle Theft

• Four subjects — Tatyana A. Martinez, 24, of Omak; Don D.L. Crow, 27, of Manson; Rodolfo Valdovinos, 30, of Pateros; and Augustina L. Purser, 30, of Omak — were arrested in the 1300 block of Lum Road just after noon on April 27 and were booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree theft and possession of a stolen vehicle. They were also booked on outstanding warrants. Additional charges, namely making or possessing motor vehicle theft tools and organized retail theft, were referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

Theft by Criminal Impersonation

• A report of theft by criminal impersonation stemming from a fraudulent solicitation phone call was made at 3:20 p.m. on April 27 in the 2500 block of Fords Prairie Avenue. The incident is under investigation.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft



• A second-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue was reported just after 2:50 p.m. on April 26.

• At approximately 7:25 a.m. on April 27, a caller reported that their wallet had been stolen from the 1700 block of North National Avenue on Sunday.

• A subject was cited for third-degree theft after allegedly shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 3:50 p.m. on April 27.

Vehicle Prowl

• A vehicle prowl in the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street was reported at 1:20 a.m. on April 27.

 

Stolen Property

• A subject was arrested in the 100 block of Southwest 10th Street at approximately 4:25 p.m. on April 27 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of a vehicle reported as stolen out of Thurston County.

 

Criminal Trespass

• A criminal trespass in the 800 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue was reported just before 3 p.m. on April 26.

• Just before 6:50 a.m. on April 27, a caller reported that a man was going through a business’ dumpster in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

 

Sexual Misconduct

• A case of possible sexual misconduct reported in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street at 2:10 p.m. on April 27 is under investigation.

 

Crash

• Minor injuries were reported from a two-vehicle collision in the 400 block of West Main Street just after 3:20 p.m. on April 27. One party reported that her vehicle’s brakes gave out and “she slammed into the back of an SUV.” She reported being “very shakey” with a possibly-injured arm.

 

Dispute Under Investigation

• A dispute reported in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. on April 27 is under investigation.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 149 inmates, including 136 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 112 were reported male and 24 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
