Sirens: Firearm Stolen From Vehicle; Unlawful Display of Weapon; DUI Arrests

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Prowl

• At 9:45 a.m. on Sept. 17, two small storage containers were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Borst Avenue sometime overnight.

• Tools and a tool belt were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of North Scheuber Road just before 12:20 p.m. on Sept. 17.

• A firearm was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue just after 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 18.

• Credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Sharon Street at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 18.

• Just after 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 19, property was reported stolen out of a vehicle in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue sometime during the night.

• At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Sept. 19, property was reported stolen out of a truck bed in the 100 block of West High Street sometime overnight.

 

Other Theft

• A Wacker Generator was reported stolen from the 400 block of East Summa Street at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Sept. 17.

• Clothing was reported stolen from an outlet store in the 100 block of West High Street just before 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. The incident is under investigation.

• Four Samsung Galaxy phones were reported stolen from the 1200 block of Lum Road at 6:10 p.m. on Sept. 19.

• A backpack that was left outside in the 200 block of West Plum Street was reported stolen just after 6:35 p.m. on Sept. 19.

 

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 100 block of Harrison Avenue at 8:45 p.m. on Sept. 17.

 

Unlawful Display of Weapon

• An unidentified subject was confronted for alleged shoplifting at a business in the 300 block of Reynolds Avenue and was escorted from the business. The subject got into his car, allegedly brandished a firearm at an employee and left prior to police’s arrival. The incident is under investigation.

 

DUI

• Dawn S. Stevens-Lindemaier, 56, of Ryderwood, was arrested in the 100 block of South Pearl Street at approximately 8:35 p.m. on Sept. 18 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

• Christopher J. Nava, 26, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of West Main Street just after 12:35 a.m. on Sept. 19 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

Assault



• Phoebe S. Babb, 64, of Arizona, was arrested in the 400 block of North Rock Street just before 8:10 p.m. on Sept. 19 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and resisting arrest.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE     DEPARTMENT

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Southwest Cascade Avenue and Southwest 12th Street at 7:40 a.m. on Sept. 17.

 

Theft

• At approximately 10:20 a.m. on Sept. 17, a catalytic converter was reported stolen from the 1500 block of North National Avenue sometime the day before.

• A vehicle battery was reported stolen from the 2100 block of North National Avenue just after 11:50 a.m. on Sept. 17.

• A vehicle prowl reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Sept. 17 is under investigation.

• Money was reported stolen from a cash register inside a booth in the 2100 block of North National Avenue just after 1:20 p.m. on Sept. 18.

• Tools were reported stolen from the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 7 p.m. on Sept. 18.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A subject was cited for a hit-and-run that was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 19. 

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 100 block of South Market Boulevard at 2:20 p.m. on Sept. 19.

 

Criminal Trespass

• A subject was arrested in the 800 block of Northwest New York Avenue at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Sept. 19 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged criminal trespass.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 132 inmates, including 119 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 17 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
