Sirens: DUI Arrest; Business Damaged; Window Shattered in Car Prowl; Hulu Theft

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Theft 

• At 9:05 a.m. on Jan. 13, a caller in the 2800 block of Russell Road reported someone had been unlawfully using her bank information to pay for their Hulu account for the past several years. The case is under investigation. 

• At 9:55 p.m. on Jan. 14, there was a report from the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue that a vehicle was stolen and later recovered. 

• Just after 6:20 a.m. on Jan. 16, a cellphone was reported stolen from a shelter in the 100 block of North Gold Street sometime overnight. 

 

Burglary 

• A burglary of a residence that is under construction in the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue was reported just after 11 p.m. on Jan. 14. Small items were reported missing. 

 

Vehicle Prowl 

• At 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 14, there was a report that several vehicles in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue were broken into. The case is under investigation. 

• A vehicle prowl where the suspect shattered a window was reported in the 700 block of Pioneer Way just before 5 p.m. on Jan. 14. At the time of reporting, the victim did not know if anything was missing. 

• A child’s backpack and a uniform were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Pioneer Way just after 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 15. 

 

Malicious Mischief 

• A Centralia man was referred to a prosecutor’s office on third-degree malicious mischief charges for allegedly damaging property at a business in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at 9:25 a.m. on Jan. 13. 

 

Hit-and-Run 

• A hit-and-run was reported in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue just after 12:40 p.m. on Jan. 15. 

 

DUI 

• Mark S. Worley, 45, of Bonney Lake, was arrested in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue just before 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 15 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence. 



 

Vehicle Accidents

• A non-injury, two-vehicle accident was reported in the 400 block of East Main Street just before 11:55 a.m. on Jan. 13. 

• A vehicle reportedly backed into a parked vehicle in the 200 block of North Railroad Avenue just before 3 p.m. on Jan. 13, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported. 

• A non-injury, two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of North Gold Street and East Main Street just before 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 13. A vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another vehicle. The at-fault driver was issued an infraction. 

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and West High Street at 5 p.m. on Jan. 14. 

 

Assault 

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 100 block of North Gold Street at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Jan. 14 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. 

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 2000 block of North Pearl Street at 11 p.m. on Jan. 14 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. 

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 1000 block of Woodland Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Jan. 15 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. 

• A Centralia man was arrested in the 1800 block of North Pearl Street just before 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 15 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and interfering with domestic violence reporting. 

• A Tumwater man was arrested in the 100 block of East Maple Street at 4:45 a.m. on Jan. 16 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. 

 

Trespassed From Property 

• A “transient” man who was found in the flower bed of a business in the 700 block of North Tower Avenue just before 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 15 was trespassed from the property. 

• A “transient” male was trespassed from a business in the 100 block of North Rock Street just after 2:50 p.m. on Jan. 15 after he was found in the alcove area of the front entrance “with items strewn about.”
