Crashes

• Minor injuries were reported after a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Hampe Way and North National Avenue just after 1:05 p.m. on July 28.

• No injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into a pole in the 200 block of SW Riverside Drive on July 29.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 300 block of NW. North Street at 4 p.m. on July 29.

 

Malicious Mischief

• A case of malicious mischief reported in the 200 block of Black Bear Lane just before 11:55 a.m. on July 29 is under investigation.

 

Theft

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1600 block of NW. Louisiana Avenue just before 3 p.m. on July 28 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1600 block of NW. Louisiana Avenue just after 4 p.m. on July 28 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1700 block of NW. Louisiana Avenue just after 5:20 p.m. on July 28 is under investigation.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1600 block of NW.    Louisiana Avenue at 6:35 p.m. on July 28 is under investigation.

• A potential attempted car prowl was reported in the 700 block of NW Liberty Place at 2:40 a.m. on July 29.

 

Assault

• A subject was cited for fourth-degree assault in the 100 block of NW State Avenue just after 3:45 p.m. on July 29.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT



Theft

• A second-degree burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Industrial Drive just after noon on July 27.

• Property was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Cooks Hill Road just after 5:35 a.m. on July 28.

• A leaf blower was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of W Main Street just before 10:15 p.m. on July 28. The incident was captured on video and the investigation is ongoing.

• Artifacts and a toolbox were reported stolen from the 700 block of N Washington Avenue at 5:55 p.m. on July 29.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A subject was cited for a hit-and-run in the 800 block of N Washington Avenue at 5:55 p.m. on July 29.

• Just before 7:10 p.m. on July 27, a caller reported a hit-and-run that occurred in the 1700 block of S Gold Street in June.

• Justin R. Williams, 34, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1200 block of W First St. at 7:40 a.m. on July 28 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for an alleged hit-and-run.

 

Crash

A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Galvin Road and Mahoney Drive at approximately 11:15 p.m. on July 29.

 

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 139 inmates, including 120 in the general population and 19 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 102 were reported male and 18 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
