Sirens: Alcohol Stolen; A Mysterious Object; Counterfeit Cash; 911 Caller Wants Ride

Criminal Trespass

• Jacob D. Radolla, 29, of Seattle, was cited after he walked into multiple residences uninvited on East Locust Street and South Diamond Street at about 8:40 a.m. on Dec. 29.

 

Burglary

• Jesus D. Montano, 44, of Centralia, was arrested for stealing alcohol from a business he was previously trespassed from in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at around 1:10 a.m. on Dec. 29.

 

Accidents

• At around 2:45 a.m. on Dec. 30, a two-vehicle collision was reported in the 2800 block of Russell Road. No arrests were made.

 

Chehalis Police Department

Suspicious Circumstances

• At around 12:10 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller reported a suspicious white Honda that was parked near their semi-trailer in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue.

• At 4:25 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller reported a mysterious object in the 200 block of Northwest Cascade Avenue. The caller stated there was a 4 inch long blue light attached to two wires that went to a battery and included an infrared light. Officers were later advised the manager determined the red light was a beacon and disposed of it. No arrests were made.

 

Thefts

• Just before 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue called to report a theft. The reporting party stated they believed they received counterfeit money consisting of two $100 bills. A woman left with items as the cashier worked to verify the bills. No arrests were made.

• Just after 4:05 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller reported the theft of an ID, food card, cash card and two other cards in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue. The caller stated the theft took place about two hours beforehand. No arrests were made.

• Just before 4:10 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller reported that a woman and two men stole a can of spray paint, a full trash can and four circular lights from the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. No arrests were made.



 

Accidents

• Just before 12:35 p.m. on Dec. 29, a red van slid into a tree in the 2300 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue. No injuries were reported.

• At 1 p.m. on Dec. 29, an accident between two vehicles was reported in the 600 block of Northwest State Avenue. No injuries were reported.

• Just after 3:15 p.m. on Dec. 29, a white Dodge Durango hit a parked vehicle on Northeast School Street and Northeast Washington Avenue. No injuries were reported.

 

Catching a Ride

• Just before 5:35 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way dialed 911 to ask for a ride to Seattle. The person was advised to call a taxi or a bus but refused. The caller stated they did not want to go to the shelter again. No arrests were made.

 

Assault

• An assault was reported at around 10:25 p.m. on Dec. 29 in the 500 block of North Market Boulevard. The reporting party stated she had been hit in the face and was bleeding from her nose. No arrests were made.

 

Disturbance

• Just before 11:50 p.m. on Dec. 29, a caller reported a man and woman were arguing outside with flashlights in the 100 block of Northeast Coal Creek Road. No arrests were made.

 

Lewis County Jail Stats

As of Thursday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 131 inmates, including 116 in the general population and 15 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 101 were reported male and 15 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
