The City of Centralia Parks and Recreation Department has temporarily closed Rotary Riverside Park, effective 7 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, through 5 p.m. Friday, June 6, to install irrigation systems that will support the new trees recently planted in the park.
During this time, no through traffic will be permitted, pedestrian access to the park will be restricted, and visitors are advised to use alternate routes.
This upgrade is made possible through a grant from the Washington state Department of Natural Resources, ensuring that Rotary Riverside Park continues to thrive as a welcoming green space for both the community and local ecology.
