Rochester falls to Montesano in final home match

The Rochester boys golf team played its final match at Riverside of the season on Tuesday, falling to Montesano 189-244.

Cash Edminster led the Warriors with a 57, while Gavin Revel and Wesley Dahl were just one stroke back at 58 each.

Colby Dunkin added a 71, and Simon Barth rounded out the scorecard with a 78. Kane Devries also played a round, shooting an 86.



Colton Grubb led the Bulldogs with a 43, and he was one of three Bulldogs to shoot a 47 or below.

Rochester will finish its regular season at Tahoma Valley against Tenino next Wednesday, Oct. 9, and the 1A District 4 Tournament is set for Oct. 22 and 23 at Tumwater Valley.
