Riverhawks Run-Rule Cardinals

The Toledo softball must've had places to be Thursday, because it ended things quickly against Winlock, taking care of the Cards in three Innings, 15-0.

Bethany Bowen only allowed one hit, and the defense behind her didn’t commit an error.

The Riverhawks put up batting practice numbers as the team combined for 16 hits and struck out only once.

Mialeigh Jurica started the bottom of the first with the first hit of her 3-for-3 performance, followed by a Abbie Marcil home run to set the tone early. And the Riverhawks never let up from there, with six girls having multiple-hit days at the plate.

Winlock’s Josalynn Shepardson had the only hit of the day for the Cardinals. Madison Rohman threw for the Cards, she had a strike out of her own and threw the complete three innings.

Marcil, Zaya Norberg, and Rahkelle Miller all drove in three RBIs from the batter's box for Toledo, and Kailea Larison went 3 for 3 with an RBI.

The Cardinals are back home Monday to face Rainier, and Toledo hits the road to take on Toutle Lake.
