A pair of goals in the second half lifted Toledo to a 3-1 win over Forks on Wednesday.
Toledo opened the scoring in the fifth minute thanks to a goal from Xtyn Norberg, but Forks’ Miley Blanton tied the game just seven minutes later.
The rest of the first half came and went without another goal, but it took the Riverhawks just two minutes out of halftime to retake the lead.
Ryah Stanley scored the go-ahead goal, and Norberg added her second in the 66th minute to ice it. Peyton Holter assisted on both goals, and Onica Chase was credited with the assist on Norberg’s first.
Toledo (8-5-1, 5-1-1) is now assured a top-four spot in the district tournament, as all the teams in fifth and below have at least four losses, and the most the Riverhawks could finish with is three.
They’ll be back on the field on Monday in South Bend to take on Raymond-South Bend.
