Rashoff leads Vikings to dominant win over T-Wolves

Maci Rashoff was unstoppable in the circle and at the plate for the Mossyrock softball team on Saturday, when she threw five innings and drove in five runs in the Vikings’ 24-1 win over Morton-White Pass.

The lone run Rashoff allowed in the circle was an unearned run, and she went 4 for 5 at the plate to bring home five runs and score another three.

She wasn’t the only Viking to have a big day at the plate, though. Erin Cournyer and Chesney Schultz both hit home runs, had three hits each, and combined for five runs batted in.

Annika Ball added four hits and four RBIs of her own, while Brooke Schwartz also added three hits and four RBIs. Taylor Schwartz went 3 for 5 and brought home a pair of runs, and Calliope Schultz also tallied an RBI.

Izzy Loucks, Brooklyn Montoure, Alyssa Kampa, and Kyra Bowen collected MWP’s four hits, and Divine Bieber scored the Timberwolves’ lone run.

Both teams are back on Monday, when Mossyrock (4-7, 2-2 C2BL) hosts Rainier and MWP (5-8, 0-4 C2BL) goes to Toledo.
