The Black Hills boys basketball team fit one more win into 2022, taking down Hudson’s Bay 67-50 at home in non-league play.

The Wolves led by eight points at halftime, then broke things open with a 23-point third quarter.

Senior forward Harrison Pilon led the hosts with 18 points, 14 of which came after halftime. Joining him down low, Keagan Rongen had 16 points — leading the Wolves with 10 in the first half — and added 11 rebounds for a double-double.

Jack Ellison put in 12 points. On the perimeter, Johnnie Stallings had nine points and seven assists.

Black Hills will go into 2023 on a mini two-game winning streak; the Wolves will get back to 2A EvCo play Tuesday, at Rochester.
