PNW Chamber Orchestra to Perform Free Concert at Centralia College

Under the direction of Nickolas Carlson, the Pacific Northwest Chamber Orchestra (PNCO) will perform a Sounds of the Season Concert at Centralia College’s Corbet Theater on Dec. 6.

Free tickets will be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to allow for social distancing. The show will begin at 7 p.m.

Carlson also conducts the Olympia Chamber Orchestra.

PNCO will kick off the Christmas season with a program featuring Mozart’s 35th Symphony, Beethoven’s “Fidelio Overture” and many old favorite holiday melodies. Vocalist Khristy Harvey will be accompanied by the orchestra as she sings “O Holy Night,” and the Westminster Bell Choir will add festivity to the occasion.

In order to provide as safe an atmosphere as possible, and in compliance with Centralia College and state health requirements, audience members will be required to wear masks while inside the building. The performance is contingent on attendees being willing to wear masks.

The concert will be available for viewing online at pnwchamberorchestra.org after it is recorded and edited.
