The Adna softball team topped Onalaska 16-4 in five innings on Thursday, and because of Toledo’s loss, the Pirates are back in first place and control their destiny for a C2BL title.

Adna scored at least two runs in all five innings, including six in the second and three in both the first and fifth.

Alyssa Carroll went 4 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and two singles, and she drove in five runs, while Khloe Hunt also hit a home run and drove in four runs while going 2 for 4 at the dish.

Gaby Guard added three hits, three runs scored, and an RBI of her own, and Danika Hallom added a hit and a pair of RBIs.

Avery LaFontaine went 1 for 2 with an RBI, and she also struck out six in five innings in the circle.

Kaiyah Sandridge tallied two hits in three at-bats for Onalaska, while Braelyn Babb and Gracin Vickers drove in a run apiece.

Onalaska (5-9, 3-4 C2BL) will return home to host Mossyrock on Tuesday, while Adna (12-4, 6-1 C2BL) will make up a non-league game against Napavine on Friday in Napavine.
