It was another game, another win for the Adna on Thursday, as the Pirates pushed their regular season winning streak to 33 games with a 25-16, 25-11, 25-13 win over Napavine.

“It was a great atmosphere in the gym tonight,” Adna coach Wendie Dotson said. “The players on the court and the supporting players on the bench had really great energy the entire match, and our student section was awesome as always.”

Gaby Guard had an excellent all-around night, tallying 28 assists and three kills on offense while adding 15 digs defensively. Karsyn Freeman also had a double-double, as she had 14 kills and 10 digs.

Danika Hallom added nine digs, eight kills, and five aces, while Kendall Humphrey finished with seven digs, five kills, and a pair of aces. Jaylee Humphrey also had seven digs, and she recorded six kills.

Both teams will finish their regular seasons next week.

Adna (14-0, 6-0 C2BL) will look to close in on another league title at Winlock on Monday, while Napavine (6-8, 2-4 C2BL) will continue to battle for a playoff spot at Onalaska on the same day.
