Jim and Cindy Smith, owners of Adna Grocery and Uncle Jim’s Smokehouse, present members of the Adna girls basketball team with a check for $3,859, money raised during the first Adna Sausage Fest held earlier this month at the Adna Grange. It’s the couple’s second major contribution to local athletics this year. They presented members of the Adna High School football program with a check for $5,342.63 after hosting the Adna Crab Feed fundraiser in April.
