Residents looking to do a little fall cleaning can dispose of miscellaneous items at an upcoming event.
Lewis County will host a free collection event for household hazardous waste, unused electronics, tires, yard waste, and scrap metal. Households can dispose of a maximum of 12 tires, two electronic devices and 5-gallon containers of unused hazards such as motor oil and antifreeze.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Pe Ell Town Hall, located at 111 Main St. Disposal is on a first-come, first serve basis. The event is for Lewis County residents only.
