Pe Ell Teen Crowned Lewis-Pacific Swiss Society’s Swiss Miss at Oktoberfest Celebration

The Lewis-Pacific Swiss Society’s 52nd annual Oktoberfest celebration took place on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Swiss Hall in Frances. Alli Engel, 17, of Pe Ell, was crowned the 2021-22 Swiss Miss.

According to a previous news release from the Swiss Society, Engel is a senior at Pe Ell High School and a Running Start student at Centralia College. She is an active student athlete, earning academic honors while playing volleyball and fastpitch. Engel is an active member in 4-H where she has shown pigs and entered baking contests.

She is the daughter of Chris and Stacy Engel.

Other events at the Oktoberfest celebration included outdoor traditional Swiss style nine-pine bowling, pinochle and horseshoe tournaments and a stein holding competition.
