Behind two double-doubles and another defensive masterpiece, the Trojans ran their winning streak to 15 and kept their perfect season intact with a 55-21 win over Willapa Valley on Saturday afternoon.

Twenty-three steals and 22 assists aided Pe Ell (15-0) to run out with a big lead and never look back. Karli Phelps recorded 14 points, 10 assists and seven steals while Maisy King registered 12 points, 10 steals and dished out six dimes.

Peyton Zock grabbed nine rebounds while Emma Kissner and Devyn Shannon pulled down seven and six boards, respectively. The Trojans return to league play on Thursday, taking on Oakville.

“Our game plan was to start with defensive intensity and keep it up all game, which I believe my girls did,” Pe Ell head coach Kelsey Lennox said. “It was just a well-executed game and a great team win.”
