Olympic Club to Host ‘Friends and Family’ Fundraising Event for Lewis County Seniors

The McMenamins Olympic Club is hosting a “Friends and Family” fundraising event from 5 p.m. to midnight on May 2.

This event is to benefit Lewis County Seniors programs. McMenamins has pledged to donate 50% of proceeds from the event to Lewis County Seniors, a nonprofit supporting local senior citizens.

Lewis County Seniors operates centers in the Twin Cities, Toledo, Winlock, Morton and Packwood, along with a nutrition site in Pe Ell at the Methodist church. All meals are designed by a licensed dietician and prepared on site under the guidance and support of Lewis Mason Thurston Area Agency on Aging and the Older Americans Act. Lunches are served daily at noon. Additionally, the Second Time Around Thrift Store in Chehalis operates to benefit Lewis County Seniors centers.

Activities at all Lewis County Seniors locations provide enrichment for seniors and the community.

“Please join us at Oly Club for delicious food and refreshing beverages as only McMenamins provide,” Lewis County Seniors said in an announcement for the event. “Pool, snooker and shuffleboard tables are poised for fun, or grab some fresh popcorn and enjoy a movie in their theater. Lewis County Seniors board members and staff will be present and available to answer questions and discuss programs. Remember, 50% of all event proceeds will directly support centers from Pe Ell to Packwood. We hope to see you there.”

The McMenamins Olympic Club is located at 112 North Tower Avenue in Centralia.
