After another record-breaking season, the Acorns’ do-it-all weapon and ball-hawking defensive back earned some recognition by the Class 1B Southwest coaches.
Daniel Rodas, a senior for the Oakville High School football team, was named as the league's Offensive Player of the Year in helping the Acorns reach six wins and a second straight crossover game.
Rodas ended the year with 1,454 yards and 21 touchdowns as a receiver and scooped up four fumbles and notched 40 tackles on defense.
