The Oakville baseball team snuck a non-league game into spring break and took advantage, blanking Evergreen Lutheran 9-0.
Daniel Rodas and Trey Groninger combined to throw a one-hitter for the Acorns, combining for 10 strikeouts. The two also put up going days at the plate, with Groninger going 2 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored and Rodas putting up a single and two RBIs.
Haezen Cayenne added a pair of knocks and scored twice for the Acorns, who busted the game open with a six-spot in the fourth inning.
Oakville is set for nine-day break, before facing Mossyrock on April 13.
