Nyastrong Warrior’s Academy ran through the third and fourth-grade girls division at the ShoWare 3on3 Shootout in Kent to take a title in dominant fashion over the weekend.
NWA beat one of two Lil Stingers teams at the tournament 17-2 in its first matchup, downed the Hornets 17-6 in its second, and beat the other Lil Stingers squad 15-3 to wrap up pool play, before dominating the Hornets again in the finals, 12-2.
All told, NWA, which features two girls from Tenino and one each from Rainier, Centralia, and Yelm outscored its opponents 61-13.
The roster includes Loreina Rosado-Jove, Sariah Parker, Brielle Sirjesse, Alasha Noyes, and Shawna Everybodytalksabout.
