Napavine Peyton Hernandez earned a gold medal at the Pac Coast Tournament in Ridgefield over the weekend, winning each of his six matchups to win the 126-pound bracket.
Hernandez had to go 6 for 6 to finish on top of the 64-man bracket, one that featured wrestlers from Washington and Oregon.
He wasn’t the only Napavine wrestler to have success down south, as Anna Guenther made it to the semifinals and eventually placed fifth in the 125-pound class.
