Napavine Takes Down Winlock in Final Regular Season Game

In its final regular season game before districts, the Napavine softball team defeated Winlock Thursday afternoon on the road, 17-5. 

The Tigers put 22 hits across the field over five innings, and committed just one error defensively to defeat the Cardinals by run-rule. 

Dani Tupuola went 3 for 4 with two triples and a double, scoring three runs and knocking in three more. Taylen Evander went 3 for 4 at leadoff with four RBIs, and Cailyn Milton went 3 for 5 with three runs scored and two RBIs to help lead the Tigers. 

In the circle, Hannah Fay got the start and pitched three innings without allowing a hit, but giving up four runs, two of which were earned, on three walks with three strikeouts. 

Hollie Brockmeuller pitched the final six outs, allowing three hits and one run with a strikeout.
