Back-to-back road losses are so rare for the Tigers it’s been over a decade since it’s happened prior to Friday night

Three unanswered scores by Class 1A La Center in the second half pushed it to a 31-18 victory over Napavine. After falling by a point in Week 1 to Montesano, the Wildcats have clawed their way to two straight wins.

Grady Wilson launched an 80-yard bomb to Dean Hamilton in the third to put Napavine ahead 12-7. He also connected with Mason Jeg for a 27-yard score in the fourth. Wilson totaled nearly 200 yards of total offense.

Caleb Von Pressentin put the Tigers on the board, part of his 55-yard rushing day that led the unit. Napavine will get another crack at a 1A program next week versus Montesano, also at home.
