In its final scheduled non-league contest of the season, the 2B No. 2 Napavine girls basketball team defeated Elma handily Saturday afternoon in Grays Harbor, 64-27.

The Tigers shot well from distance, and had 10 players score in another well-rounded offensive night.

“I thought we did a really nice job of making the extra pass that led us to making some 3’s today,” Tigers coach Shane Schutz said. “I thought our girls were ready to play when we stepped off the bus.”

Hayden Kaut led Napavine with 22 points, and Jessie McCoy also stepped in to hit a couple of 3-pointers, scoring eight points.

The Tigers return to Central 2B League play against Toutle Lake at home Tuesday.
