Napavine Jr./Sr. High School welcomed representatives from over 30 local employers, as well as students from neighboring school districts, for a career fair on Thursday, Nov. 2.
“It is a very cool, positive event that showcases the diverse career opportunities in our area,” said David Rutherford, the career and technical education coordinator at Napavine Jr./Sr. High School.
Napavine’s own students attended the career fair in batches throughout the morning on Thursday while Adna School and Winlock High School bussed 60 and 30, respectfully, of their own students to the event.
Employers with tables at the career fair included Alaska Airlines, Valley View Health Center, Centralia College, Nike, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Lewis County Fire District 5, the U.S. Army, and more.
