The Southwest Washington Mycological Society (SWMS) wants to grow an interest in fungi at its upcoming June 7 meeting.

All interested are welcome to go to 17 SW Cascade St. in Chehalis, the WSU office, at 6 p.m. on June 7 for the club’s monthly meeting.

The society has a special feature showing of the film “Fantastic Fungi” planned for the evening. According to a news release, the movie won a number of awards and is a tour de force for mushroom enthusiasts.
