TENINO — Kory Hamre and Ryan Pendergrass hit homers as Mount St. Helens downed Tenino 11-6 in Senior Babe Ruth League action here Wednesday.
Mark Curtis both went 3-for-4 for MSH with three RBIs.
Tenino's Tyson Little was 3-for-5 with an RBI while John Lewis had two hits, including an RBI double.
Tenino (3-3-1) is at MSH (White Pass High School) Saturday for a doubleheader.
Centralia, Oakville split
The Centralia Osprey picked up their first win of the season as Mike Miller delivered a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth for a 3-2 win in the second game of a doubleheader with Oakville.
Nick Decker picked up the victory with three innings of relief work.
Oakville won the opener 7-5. Oakville had a pair of 10-run victories the first time the two teams met.
"We feel like we're improving," said Centralia coach Boyd Calder, whose team is 1-13.
Adam Isaacson had a single and a triple in the first game while Josh Westley had an RBI double.
Centralia hosts Rochester Saturday.
