The Rainier volleyball team bounced back from its first loss with a win in Toutle on Tuesday, as the Mountaineers topped Toutle Lake 25-16, 25-27, 25-22, 25-21.
Allyson Ooms tallied 18 digs and 15 kills, Janess Blackburn added 16 digs, 14 kills, and two aces, and Brooklyn Swenson dished out 21 assists and added eight digs.
Acacia Murphy tallied 12 kills and four blocks, while Liberty Adair and Ellie Pringle logged 15 digs each.
The Mountaineers (5-1) will open league play on Thursday at Morton-White Pass.
