McMahon’s 22 Points Helps Wolves Down Hawks

In a tight non-league battle with 3A River Ridge, the Black Hills girls basketball team upended the Hawks at home Monday night, 53-47. 

The Wolves were led by the 22 points of sophomore guard Kiley McMahon, who also recorded five rebounds and three steals in the win. Kayla Patti added a near double-double with 12 points and nine boards, and Claire Johnson stuffed the statsheet with seven points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and two steals. 

Ava Klovas added eight points, seven boards, and three blocks, and Bianca Pomeroy had four points, nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and a pair of blocks. 

The Wolves take on Rochester next in a return to league play after the New Year on January 4.
