Mary Alice Moffitt: 1952-2021

 Mary Alice Moffitt. Loving mother, sister, wife, gami (grandma) and friend. Born in Bremerton, Wash., December 27, 1952, to Edward Clokey and Stellarae Waterhouse. She is the oldest of 4 children. In 1960, Mary, siblings and mom moved from Virginia to San Jose, Cali. At the age of 12 she titled the role of Household Manager to her mother’s Single Parent family.
Mary lived a full childhood life as she experienced not only ‘teacher’s pet’ academically, but Jr. High cheerleader, Jr. Lifesaving graduate, accordion pupil & theatrical lead in a high school play, Cleopatra. It was that experience that led to her nickname Cleo. Cleo’s mother chose to relocate back to the Waterhouse hometown of what is now known as Port Hadlock, Wash.
Cleo finished her high school years graduating from the 1971 class of Chimacum High. Now an adult, Cleo once again sported her given name, Mary Alice.
Through the next chapters of her life she raised 3 beautiful children; Steven James Clokey, Katrena Deanne Krause (Gravatt) and Cristal Lee Baker (Bunting).
She would enjoy a fun filled career as a neighborhood bartender and cocktail waitress in Centralia, Wash., and S. Lake Tahoe, Nev. In the latter years of Mary’s life along with her loving husband, Michael Moffitt and 2 dogs Honda and Latifa, she would enjoy the sunshine of Yuma, Ariz. Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father; grandson, Donavin Spare; her brother, James Elwyn Prince; and loving daughter, Katrena Krause (Trena).
Mary Alice is survived by: husband, Michael Moffitt, Yuma Ariz.; son, Steven James Clokey, Chehalis, Wash.; daughter, Cristal Lee Baker, Chehalis, Wash.; her loving sisters, Deanna Lynn Amos, Morton, Wash. and Ellarae Campbell, Orange, Cali.; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. 
Mary was well known for her smile and friendly demeanor. Her wit and laughter along with her sincere charming personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her dearly. December 27, 1952 - December 20, 2020.
