After a dominant showing at the Centralia College Senior All-Star Game on Friday, a lot of the same seniors made their way down south to Longview for Lower Columbia College’s version of the event, and found a similar result in a small versus big schools matchup.

The B’s — referred to as the “White Team” defeated their larger school counterparts — the “Red Team” — 100-68, led by an MVP effort from Mossyrock’s Caelyn Marshall, who scored a game-high 22 points.

She was joined in double figures by Adna’s Karlee VonMoos (19), Napavine’s Morgan Hamilton (16), Wahkiakum’s Reigha Niemeyer (13), Adna’s Brooklyn Loose (12), and Naselle’s Lauren Katyryniuk (12). Onalaska’s Brooklyn Sandridge also scored two points and Mossyrock’s Hailey Brooks had four. Mossyrock senior guard Payton Torrey also attended as an honorary selectee, but didn’t play due to injury.

The Red Team was also led by an area standout, with Tumwater’s Kylie Waltermeyer scoring a team-high 19 points and hauling in nine rebounds. W.F. West’s Morgan Rogerson also scored six points off the bench to round out locals participating in the all-star event.
