A Castle Rock man was hospitalized after he fell asleep at the wheel, struck a Jersey barrier and crashed into a ditch off of southbound Interstate 5 in Lewis County on Wednesday.
The crash occurred at milepost 64 near Winlock at 10:20 a.m. on April 16, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver has been identified as 22-year-old Dabe A. Alvarez Price. He was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital.
Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the crash, according to the Washington State Patrol.
