Tumwater junior Luke Brewer scored a team-high 22 points, including 19 in the first half, and the Thunderbirds shot past Rochester for a 74-41 road victory Wednesday.
Andrew Collins added 12 points, six rebounds and six assists for the T-Birds, while Tanner Brewer chipped in 11 points and Clay Morgan finished with eight. Adam Overbay collected seven points and five boards.
Rochester's Tyler Klatush led all scorers with 25 points, which included knocking down seven 3-pointers.
Tumwater (2-0) hosts Aberdeen on Tuesday. Rochester (1-4) travels to Centralia (2-1) on Friday.
