Led by another dominant outing from Lisa Liddell, the Onalaska softball team defeated Mossyrock in a non-league contest at home Monday afternoon, 9-0.

The sophomore hurler threw yet another complete game, allowing just three hits, walking three more, and striking out 18 in a shutout outing.

At the plate, Yuliana Escalera went 3 for 4 with two doubles and four RBIs, Kate Zandell went 2 for 3 with a walk drawn and a run scored, and Cadence Cantrell went hit a triple that scored a run for the Loggers.

“We’ve still got a few things to take care of out on the field,” Loggers coach Rich Teitzel said. “We just have to keep playing good ball and focus on improving every day.”

The Vikings hits came from Chesney Schultz, Erin Cournyer, and Taylor Schwartz. Cournyer also pitched a complete game, giving up 10 hits with six walks and six strikeouts.

The Loggers will return to their home field for Senior Night Wednesday against Wahkiakum.
