Onalaska’s offense was humming in a road doubleheader sweep of Toutle Lake on Monday to remain unbeaten in Central 2B League action.

In Game 1, the Loggers out-hit the Ducks 12-2 in an 11-1, run-rule victory in five innings.

Freshman Lisa Liddell led the Loggers’ offense while blasting a three-run homer. Desi Smith was 3 for 4, and Raelee Holmes and Jordan Sabin each went 2 for 3.

Dylan Zigler threw all five innings in the circle, striking out six while allowing zero earned runs with two hits and three walks.

“She pitched excellent,” Onalaska coach Rich Teitzel said. “Sabin hit the ball great and made some great catches in right field. Alex Cleveland-Barrera played solid at third base. It was a great team effort.”

In Game 2, the Loggers exploded for 21 hits en route to a 17-8 victory.

Cleveland-Barrera hit a home run and a triple while going 2 for 5. Callie Lawrence was a perfect 4 for 4, while Holmes went 3 for 5. Liddell threw all seven innings for a complete-game victory.

“I told the girls, this is right where we wanna be,” Teitzel said.
