ONALASKA — Onalaska extended its win streak to seven games with a 5-0 victory over visiting Winlock Monday in 2B Central League action.

The Loggers, who have now pitched five shutouts on the season in eight matches, found goals from five different girls as they all ended up playing different formations for the night.

“We were a bit relaxed but passed well,” Onalaska coach Chris Van Clifford said.

Junior scoring-machine Brooklyn Sandridge opened up the scoring in the 10th minute, followed by Callie Lawrence’s goal in the 14th, Cierra Russ’ in the 19th and Kaiyah Sandridge’s in the 32nd to take a 4-0 lead at the half. Hailee Brown capped off the scoring with a goal in the 70th.

Loggers’ all-area keeper Alex Cleveland-Barrera notched one save on the night and even came out of the box to play forward for a bit later in the match.

Winlock’s offensive struggles continued against a dominant Onalaska squad. The Cardinals have now been shutout in four of their seven matches.

The Cardinals (0-6-1, 0-4 league) will look to nab their first win of the season when they host Stevenson on Monday.

Onalaska (7-1, 3-0 league) travels to South Division rival Toledo (7-1, 2-1 league) for a heavyweight matchup on Wednesday.
