Brooklyn Sandridge netted a hat trick and Onalaska won its fifth-straight with a 4-0 victory over Stevenson at home in 2B Central League play on Wednesday.

Sandridge now has 12 goals on the year as the Loggers pitched their third-straight shutout and fourth in the past five games.

All-Area keeper Alex Cleveland-Barrera now has 30 saves and four shutouts on the year.

Yuliana Escalera put the Loggers up 1-0 in the third minute, then Sandridge knocked in her trio of goals in the 21st, 52nd and 60th minutes to seal the victory. Joscelin Escalera assisted Sandridge’s goal in the 52nd minute.

“We played disciplined soccer,” Onalaska coach Chris Van Clifford said. “Kate Zandell and Jordan Sabin settled in and had the right side locked down. They did a nice job connecting with each other tonight.”

Onalaska improves to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in league. The Loggers travel to Class 1A Castle Rock for a non-league make-up match at 5 p.m. Thursday.
