Morgan Hamilton recorded a triple double and Onalaska ran its win streak to six matches in a  road sweep of Stevenson (25-15, 25-15, 25-23) in Central 2B League action on Tuesday.

The Loggers, who were coming off a sweep of Morton-White Pass on Monday, have now notched six-consecutive sweeps.

“All seven girls contributed tonight,” Onalaska coach Jenny Hamilton said. “They all played as a team.”

Onalaska jumped out to easy victories in the first two games and controlled the third before hitting a dead spot with unforced errors. That allowed the Bulldogs to climb back in it and take the lead at 21-20 before Hamilton called a timeout.

“I told them, ‘You’re playing sloppy. Clean it up. We just need to put it in play,’” Hamilton said.

The Loggers went back out and went on a 5-2 run to put Stevenson away.

Morgan Hamilton finished with a match-high 16 kills, 13 digs and was a perfect 13 for 13 serving. Hannah James added 20 digs, nine kills and served 100%.

Dakota Hamilton was everywhere on the court, tallying a team-high 23 assists with six digs, two block kills and three aces on 16 for 17 serving. Andi Oliver contributed two kills, five block kills and two assists, while Desi Smith pitched in 20 digs and 100% serving and Jen Lipsey registered two block kills.

“My front row blocked awesome tonight,” Hamilton said.

Onalaska (11-3, 7-1 league) travels to league-leading Kalama on Wednesday.
