Loggers Blanked by Chinooks to End Regular Season

ONALASKA — Kalama put a bitter tinge onto the Onalaska soccer team’s senior night, sealing the league title that the Loggers came in with hopes of stealing in decisive fashion with a 6-0 win.

Hailee Brown stopped 11 of the shots that came her way, but wasn’t able to do anything about three in the first half and three in the second.

Kalama’s six goals came from six different players.

Jaycee Talley led the Loggers on defense with a pair of tackles, while Kate Zandell broke up five passes.

Talley, Jaelyn Auman, and Brooklyn Sandridge — the lone senior on the Onalaska roster — all tallied shots.

Onalaska will take the 2B South’s second seed into the district tournament; the Loggers will host Ocosta next Tuesday in the first round.
