The Market Street Bakery and Cafe in Chehalis has announced this month’s art display featuring the works of local watercolorist Jean Morey.

During February, visitors will have the opportunity to view Morey’s collection of watercolor paintings, the business stated in a news release.

Morey, a retired art teacher at Centralia High School and current member of ARTrails of Southwest Washington, has been capturing the Pacific Northwest through her art for over 20 years.

Her paintings focus on landscapes, seascapes and abstract forms found in nature.

“I am thrilled to share my work with the community in such a wonderful setting,” Morey said. “The Market Street Bakery and Cafe is the perfect place to showcase my art, and I hope it brings joy and inspiration to everyone who visits.”

The display will be accessible during the cafe’s regular business hours, and all pieces will be available for purchase. Market Street Bakery and Cafe is located at 492 N. Market Blvd., Chehalis.
