With $125,000 in funding available from Nov. 1 through March 31, Lewis County Public Health and Social Services is currently accepting requests for proposals for seasonal emergency shelters.
Proposals are open now through 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21.
According to a news release from Lewis County, the request is open for applicants with the necessary capacity and experience to successfully deliver emergency shelter services for a minimum of 25 homeless individuals, with the ability to increase in scale due to hazardous weather events.
These funds are intended to be utilized for new or expanded services by providers.
