Lewis County elected officials took their oaths of office at the Lewis County Courthouse on Wednesday morning, according to a news release from the county.

Superior Court Judge Andrew Toynbee oversaw the swearing-in ceremony for seven county leaders, as colleagues, family and friends attended.

Those sworn in were political newcomers Commissioner Scott Brummer, who took office in November, and Assessor-elect Ross Nielsen, who will take office Jan. 1, as well as five incumbents: Prosecutor Jonathan Meyer, Treasurer Arny Davis, Clerk Scott Tinney, Sheriff Rob Snaza and Auditor Larry Grove. All seven elected officials will serve four-year terms through December 2026.

Each of the officials were elected during the Nov. 8 general election.
