The Lewis County Coroner’s Office is seeking the public’s help in trying to tentatively identify two sets of human remains found in Lewis County this year.
The first is a set of remains found in Winlock on March 2. The preliminary anthropological report indicates an 18- to 35-year-old white or hispanic male who was between 5-foot-7 and 6-foot-2.
The second is a set of remains found in Centralia on May 17. The preliminary anthropological report indicates a 40- to 70-year-old white male who was between 5-foot-5 and 6 feet tall.
Sketches of each person were prepared by a forensic artist using the anthropological markers, but the coroner’s office reminds viewers hair length, type and color are drawn using artistic license as they cannot be determined scientifically. There is also no way to determine facial hair.
Anyone with possible information regarding these two people are asked to call the Lewis County Coroner’s Office at the dedicated tip line at 360-740-3367. If there is no answer, messages can be left and they will be checked twice daily.
