Lewis County Auditor’s Office: Some state Department of Licensing services to be unavailable Feb. 10-17

Posted

The Washington State Department of Licensing’s online services for vehicle and vessel licensing and driver licensing will be out of service Feb. 10 through Feb. 17 as the department updates its software.

All vehicle licensing offices in Lewis County will also be closed from Feb. 14 through Feb. 17. Closures include the Lewis County Auditor’s Office in the Lewis County Courthouse and the subagent offices of Twin City Licensing, Better Weigh MFG and Timber Town Licensing.

All state driver licensing offices will be closed during the same Feb. 14-17 period.

The Lewis County Auditor’s Office advises anyone who needs to complete a licensing transaction to do so before the system shutdown starts on Feb. 10.

The auditor’s office stated in a news release that the system update will “enhance customer service, add security features and better support mobile devices.”
