I am asking the Washington GOP to please stop fighting Gov. Jay Inslee’s health measures.
There have been no measures to fight COVID-19 coming from the Washington Republicans, only these measures to fight Inslee.
Please stop being the party of “no” and collaborate to fight this pandemic.
• Aug. 11 — The Chronicle reports GOP minority leaders Rep. J.T. Wilcox and Sen. John Braun saying that Inslee’s vaccine requirement is ‘Heavy-Handed’
• June 1 — The Nisqually Valley News reports Wilcox says Inslee’s mask mandate violates employee privacy and is fundamentally wrong.
• May 14 — The Nisqually Valley News reports Wilcox says Inslee’s COVID-19 restrictions should be lifted two weeks sooner.
• May 5, 2020 — The Olympian reports four Republican state House members sued Inslee over the COVID-19 stay-at-home order: Andrew Barkis, Drew MacEwen, Chris Corry and Brandon Vick.
