Letter to the Editor: Please Consider Volunteering at Health and Hope

Posted

Have you ever volunteered somewhere? Maybe it was a fun run, fair or at a clinic?

There are many ways to serve your local community by volunteering. Health and Hope Medical Outreach provides a free medical clinic to the underinsured and low income families in Lewis County and South Thurston County. The clinic is run by about two dozen volunteers each night. There are doctors, nurses, receptionists, translators and much more! Meaning, there will be a place for you!

The volunteers are truly invaluable. Most come every week to serve others, and some come once a month. A great part about volunteering here at Health and Hope is that you get to pick your own schedule. You are able to serve your community each time you come by helping others. This is a great way to give back to a fantastic community.

Please consider volunteering at Health and Hope. We want to continue to provide care for those who are unable to receive it. Visit our website at HHMO.org to find an application you can send in.
